Vaidya. Jayarajan Kodikannath is an Ayurvedic Doctor from India, an internationally renowned Ayurvedic scholar, author, researcher, and educator with over 25 years of Ayurvedic clinical experience in India and the U.S. He is currently the CEO and Academy Director of Kerala Ayurveda USA and Board Member of National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA). Under his leadership Kerala Ayurveda USA recently received an award “Top Alternative Medicine Company 2023” by Pharma Tech Outlook. His recently published research is on an herbal composition for the management of metabolic syndrome disorders such as type 2 diabetes mellitus, obesity, and lipid profile management which received a US Patent. He is the author of the award-winning book on patenting- The Parent's Complete Guide to Ayurveda: Principles, Practices, and Recipes for Happy, Healthy Kids (2022). He served as the Chief Medical Officer of Ayurvedagram, an internationally reputed heritage wellness resort at Bangalore in India, over 10 years before he moved to the USA in 2011. “Dr. J,” as his students call him for short, is a compassionate healer and educator, devoted to the mission of propagating the consciousness-based practice of Ayurveda across the globe. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his family and is committed to imparting the traditional teachings of Kerala’s Ayurveda.
