Halean Shipman | Secretary

Halean is a dedicated holistic health advocate and integrative care professional, holding credentials as a Nama Certified Ayurveda Practitioner, Reiki 2 Practitioner, and Ayurvedic Chef, along with a Radiation Therapy License for 30 years. With over two decades of experience supporting cancer patients as a Staff and Chief Radiation Therapist, Halean transitioned to technology leadership as a Project Manager for Oncology EMR systems in California, a shift that sparked her journey into Ayurveda. Her contributions to CAAM encompass marketing, conference building and support, Ayurveda Day initiatives, web team support, and serving as Secretary.  Passionate about education, Halean has tutored Ayurveda students and now focuses on promoting proper nutrition and digestive health,  for pets and their parents in her community. Her multifaceted background in clinical care, technology, teaching, and leadership reflects a commitment to advancing holistic health by supporting CAAM's mission.
