Dear CAAM Community,

We are excited to announce the upcoming CAAM Board of Directors election for 2026. The deadline for applications is August 21st.

For more than a quarter century, our organization has been a steadfast champion of Ayurveda in California. The past several years in particular have marked a period of significant growth and achievement as we've expanded our reach and deepened our commitment to this ancient healing science. As we continue to grow, we invite passionate leaders to join the CAAM Board of Directors—the governing body that provides strategic vision and stewardship for our association.

As CAAM continues to grow and expand its impact, the needs of our organization have evolved significantly. In alignment with our commitment to transparency and member participation, we are now preparing to hold our Annual Board Elections. Your voice and participation are essential in shaping the future of our organization.

We warmly invite you to:

  • Apply for open Board positions, and

  • Nominate a fellow practitioner, educator, or leader whom you feel called to put forward for service.

CAAM is an inclusive Ayurvedic community that supports and spreads the knowledge of Ayurveda throughout California. By joining the Board, you can connect with a global network of Ayurvedic practitioners, students, and teachers.

2026 Election Criteria:

  • Alignment with CAAM's vision, mission, and goals

  • Volunteered with an organization for a minimum of 6 months, if it is CAAM then that's a bonus

  • Must be residents of California, and all members must be legal residents of the United States. (You are welcome to apply even if you are not a California resident.)

  • Commitment of an average of 5 hours per week for CAAM-related work, more so closer to our conference

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Ayurvedic field as a clinician, practitioner, educator, administrator, or other relevant work in a professional capacity

  • No convictions of felonies or breaches of duty, and no legal actions taken against the applicant professionally
